Meet Denise Haddaway, the expert touch behind Skin by Denise.

Originally from Long Island, NY, Denise transitioned from a 22-year career in healthcare to launch a dynamic path in spa and wellness in 2001.

Today, she’s a Maryland-licensed Massage Therapist, Aesthetician, Fitness Instructor, and Integrative Health Coach, combining her skills to offer a deeply holistic experience for her clients.

Denise’s leadership journey began with the launch of a boutique spa in St. Michaels, MD, and evolved into prestigious roles such as Spa Director at the Inn at Perry Cabin by Belmond and Director of the Spa at Colonial Williamsburg. She’s been recognized by the International Spa Association with a 2014 Innovate Award and has contributed as a member of multiple ISPA task forces. Her influence extends beyond the spa, having served as VP of the St. Michaels Business Association and on the local tourism board.

After years in executive roles, Denise returned to her first love — hands-on wellness. Her passion lies in helping people look and feel their best, one personalized treatment at a time.

Outside of the spa, Denise is a proud mom and grandmother who enjoys skiing, cycling, photography, travel, boating, and weight training.
